School

A school where ALL fit. Where ALL children learn TOGETHER, regardless of their characteristics. This is the basis for educating tolerant, respectful and empathetic people where some learn from others.

We show you some fundamental requirements to bet on an INCLUSIVE school. We shout in favor of an ACTIVE AND PARTICIPATORY inclusion.

  • The COMMITMENT of the management and the faculty is essential with the inclusion of students with ASD and in general with attention to diversity. Aspect that must become reality plasmándolo it in the different plans and projects of the center.
  • Invest in TEACHER TRAINING to ensure attention adjusted to the needs of the students.
  • Support other services such as guidance teams, institutions, associations, etc.
  • Create a "Sensitization Calendar" in which the dates indicated as different Awareness Days are celebrated. In the case of the TEA is on April 2, awareness activities aimed at different members of the educational community.
  • Implement projects of:
  1. "Inclusive PLayTime": aimed at students who need more structured games in time and space with attention and follow-up so that their interactions are positive.
  2. "Patrols of Patios": Social tool to guide students to propose and develop games with their peers.
  3. "Circle of Friends": Indirect supervision of the group of partners with whom they interact in the playground and what games they share.

In short, a school in which all students receive an education based on the principle of equity while at the same time attending to the personal characteristics of each one of them respecting the evolutionary rhythm of each one. In the inclusive school difference is not only accepted, but it is seen as a positive and enriching characteristic.
