Kid

I'm not just autistic. I am also a child ... I share many things about children you call "normal". I like to play, have fun, and I love my parents and those close to me, I feel satisfied when I do things right. It's more what we share than what separates us. " Angel Riviere.

With this phrase in mind, how can we help our classmates in the classroom and in the playground?

  • Talk to him slowly and with short phrases.
  • Know what you like so you can share moments.
  • Use images, photos, pictograms, etc. it will make it easier for you to understand what is happening around you.
  • Do not do things for him, make sure he has understood and respects his time.
  • Come to play with him. Talk to him slowly and with short phrases: hello, are you coming to play? , hello, I want to play with you ... so not only are you approaching, you are also teaching them how to do it.
  • When you talk to him if you help him with a gesture, it will be much easier. If you do not know them, ask your teacher, they will tell you how to do it.
  • Let him know when you have finished that he has done great.
  • Do not be discouraged if you get angry or have a lot of tantrums, you are still learning rules. Also, how hard it is to communicate is difficult to express what happens.

WITH YOUR HELP, WITH THE HELP OF EVERYONE YOU WILL FEEL SAFE AND HAPPY.
